Seniha Sultan : ウィキペディア英語版 | Seniha Sultan Seniha Sultan (22 November 1852 - 15 September 1931) was an Ottoman princess, the daughter of Sultan Abdülmecid I and his wife Nalanıdil Hanımefendi, the daughter of Prince Natıkhu Bey Çıpakue. She was the half sister of Sultans Mehmed VI, Murad V, Abdul Hamid II and Mehmed V. ==Biography== Seniha Sultan was born as the daughter of the daughter of Sultan Abdülmecid I and his wife Nalanıdil Hanımefendi, the daughter of Prince Natıkhu Bey Çıpakue. She also had a brother named, Şehzade Mehmed Abdüssamed Efendi, who died in infancy. Princess Seniha used to wear dresses of the most superb cloth, with her tiara on her head on formal occasions, and she also wore gowns with long trains in the European fashion spreading out behind her. She had a regal look about her. Her face was pretty. In manner she was entirely unconstrained. Often, as did her half sister Princess Mediha Sultan, she would burst into laughter, and she spoke rapidly and in a deep voice. When these two sisters were together chatting with Murad V, they would both laugh and try to amuse him and get him to smile as though they were in competition with one another. On 5 December 1876 she married Asaf Mahmud Celaleddin Pasha, the son of Grand Admiral Damat Gürcü Halil Rifat Pasha. Together with Mahmud Celadeddin Pasha they had two sons, Prince Sabahaddin Bey and Prince Ahmed Lütfullâh Bey. Prince Sabahaddin Bey was an Ottoman sociologist and thinker. Princess Seniha died on 15 September 1931 in Nice, France.
